Sai

Hi, I'm Sai.

I'm the co-founder and CEO of Hypercubic. We're building agentic AI for mainframe operations and modernization, helping large enterprises understand, operate, and transform the legacy systems that still power banking, insurance, airlines, government, and global commerce. Our mission is to pioneer a new class of intelligence capable of understanding, reasoning about, and rebuilding the world's foundational infrastructure.

Previously, I was a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, where I worked on ML R&D, multimodal sensing, and embedded algorithms across iPhone and Mac. I owned end-to-end ML systems, shipped core features on 200M+ devices, and presented my work at the Apple Machine Learning Summit.

I received my B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, where I published multiple first-author research papers in natural language processing, long-context reasoning, and large language models. I was also awarded the Graduate Student Research Excellence Award, given annually to the Top 8 graduate researchers in the College of Engineering.

I enjoy building things, learning fast, and working on hard problems. For my past projects and academic endeavors, I've been selected as a ZFellow, Forbes Under 30 Scholar, Microsoft Imagine Cup World Finalist, Stanford UIF Fellow, and have worked on ML research funded by Google DeepMind.
